With an always rotating selection of craft beer, delicious and affordable wines, fresh La Colombe coffee and espresso, Judy's offers quality, reasonably-priced drinks to regulars and visitors alike. A place to warm-up in the morning and wind-down after work. A great date spot, a neighborhood staple, your go to happy hour, pre-dinner / post-dinner, on the way to work, second office, birthday get together, all day all purpose watering hole.

Q: Who's Judy?
A: A very cool lady from Philadelphia. It just so happens that one of her children opened a neighborhood Bar / Cafe in Sunset Park and of course he named the bar after her. Trust me if you knew her you'd named a bar after her too. True story.
Q: What do you sell?
A: We sell coffee, wine, & beer. During the day the "vibe" is more coffee shop. At night the "vibe" is more neighborhood bar, but we offer all three day & night.
Q: Can I see the menu?
A: Click here for a sample menu. Our wine & beer rotates constantly (several new items a week!) and our owner is too lazy to keep this page up to date so you'll have to come in to see exactly what we're pouring at the moment.
Q: Do you have outdoor seating?
A: Yes! We have sidewalk seating and a very comfortable "porch" with a roof, three walls. Powerful electric heaters during the winter, breezy fans during the summer. Perfect for kicking back with some friends in the safety of the great outdoors with some wine, beer, or coffee.
Q: Do you have draft beer?
A: Yes! We have seven wonderful always rotating draft lines. All craft, sourced locally and from around the country.
Q: Do you have food?
A: During the day we have pastries and cookies (from The Good Batch). At night we can make pizza and we occasionally have pop-up food on the weekends.
Q: Is outside food welcome?
A: Yes! Please feel free to bring in or get delivery from all the amazing restaurants, trucks, bodegas, etc. of Sunset Park. The neighborhood is more than capable of providing for you and we have plates, napkins, forks, knives, etc. to help with that. Menus and suggestions available by request!
Q: Do you sell bottles of wine like a wine shop?
A: Sigh... we used to during the pandemic, but this was recently taken away from us by New York State. Maybe it'll come back some day. It was really nice!
Q: Do you sell craft beer to-go?
A: Yes! And there's a 4-pack special, too. Just ask.
Q: Do you have whiskey, vodka, rum, tequila, ...
A: Unfortunately, in our current form, Judy's only serves beer, wine, cider and sake.
Q: Can I have my birthday, celebration, group meeting, etc. at Judy's?
A: Yes! In fact, Judy's is a great place for events as there's plenty of room (and a variety of set-ups) and if you give us a heads up beforehand we can perhaps reserve you some space beforehand. You can also bring in outside decorations (within reason) and cakes, treats, etc. Please email if you're interested in reserving space.
Q: Can I have my private event at Judy's?
A: Although groups are invited to reserve portions of Judy's for events, we are not currently renting out the entire space at this time. Judy's believes strongly in "always being a bar," which means being available for any passerby / local who just needs a drink on any given night. That being said, if you think there's a special occasion that could work really well here you might be surprised at how easily it could work without the space being strictly privatized to your party. Email me and let's talk it out.
Q: Are laptops allowed?
A: Definitely! Please feel free to use Judy's as a "second office" and to partake in our delicious beverages while you do so.
Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Unfortunately not inside, but in the outdoor dining set-up, yes.
Q: Live music?
A: Nope. Not at this time.
Q: Do you have a lost and found?
A: Yes we do. Please call ahead of time if you left something the night before and we'll have it ready for you when you show up.
Q: Do you have a community bulletin board?
A: We do and you should definitely pin your Sunset Park related flyers / cards to it!
